What are Edgewood Electric operating hours?
Office Hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday, however, we are willing to work weekends and / or evenings if it is more convenient for our customers.

When you call us, we will inform you of how soon we can get someone out to provide an estimate if one is required and when we could start / complete your job.

How do your charge rates compare with other electrical service companies?
Our customers rate our pricing as very competitive. However, if you wish to be sure, it is always best to get multiple bids. When evaluating estimates, make sure all bids are based on the same set of service and equipment specifications. Discuss the bids in detail with each contractor and make sure you understand the reasons for variations in price. A higher price may be your lowest overall cost if the materials used are of higher quality or the work is more complete.

Does someone need to be home all day when your electrician performs the work?
This is entirely up to you. However, we are licensed, bonded and insured. Our electricians are professional, responsible and neat. They clean up and lock up upon completion.

Do I need an estimate?
For jobs which will require more than 4 man hours such as panel upgrades, hot tub circuit, or rewiring for a remodel job, we prefer to work from a firm quote. This gives us a chance to fully understand the customer’s objectives and design the most cost effective solution.
